Analytics are a great Motive Commerce Search tool to understand how your users interact with your catalogue by searching.
Viewing the Analytics Page
You can access the Analytics page in the sidebar. When you access the feature, you will start seeing data during the first 24 hours of usage, or after the first indexation is completed.
If you have indeed been using Motive Commerce Search for longer than a day, two graphs showing the available information for searches with and without results will be displayed:
On the top of the page, you can see the figures for the Total of Searches, Clicks, Searches with Results and Searches with no results.
Clicks Clicks represent the number of interactions your shoppers have with the product card or the add-to-cart button, both in total and percentage data. |
Below that, you can see two graphs for the queries with and without results, and view the details.
Viewing the Searches over time chart
The Searches over time chart allows you to see how your shoppers' searches have evolved in the time window you have specified (Last 7 Days or Last 30 Days). This chart offers the data for the following concepts:
- Total searches: The total number of searches in your shop.
- Searches with clicks: Searches resulting in clicks to the Add-to-cart button or product card.
- Searches with no results: Searches that returned no results
Bear in mind you can export this chart in the section's top-right Export data icon.
