Filters are a Motive Commerce Search tool that allows you to decide which attributes your shoppers can filter from when navigating search results. This page provides an overview on how to use Filters.
Understanding Filters
The use of filters is very straightforward, allowing you to select which labels of your index are shown to your shoppers when they navigate their search results. These labels are retrieved from your PrestaShop catalogue, where the different attributes are introduced.
If you add new attributes or edit existing ones in your PrestaShop catalogue, they will appear in Filters once a new indexing is completed.
Managing Filters
You can enable the filters you want to be shown with the Status toggle.
In order to do that, follow these steps:
- Select the Label whose status you want to change.
- Use the toggle to enable (green) or disable (grey) it from the Search Results filters.
- Click Save.

After saving your changes, it will take some time to be reflected in your shop. Once it is, you can check their implementation in your shop by searching for a product including the edited attribute.
