Motive Commerce Search 1.1

It's already springtime and Motive Commerce Search has blossomed with some new features and improvements to make the lives of shoppers and shop owners easier and more joyful. New Features

Index Synchronisation

You can now update your feed with the configurations you’ve added to Motive Commerce Search and know the status of the synchronisation between Motive Commerce Search and your shop's catalogue. You can learn more about this feature here.

Searchable Fields

Apart from filters, you can now also choose the fields that contain the terms that your users use in their search. The Searchable Fields list shows all the fields that can be used to search, allowing you to select the ones that are used. Learn more about Searchable fields.

Improvements

Backend Improvements

There have been some improvements in the backend regarding our AWS configuration and the Kafka connection to deploy customisations with little delay.

Synonyms Refactoring

There have been some refactoring tasks for the Synonyms feature, performance, and usability; including error alerts for scenarios that are not allowed upon configuring synonyms.

Shops' Fields Translation

The search layer of Motive Commerce Search, i.e. the shops where it is enabled, are now available in multiple languages: Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian.

Bugs

Synonyms and other fixes

This release has also solved some minor issues with several aspects of the product, from an error that allowed to enter empty chips as synonyms to some UI and MotiveX scrolling inconsistencies. Apart from that, we have implemented some internal changes to optimise the team's performance and technology usage.
